Hey everyone! so I guess I haven't posted the second part of the Rome trip yet. But in reference to that blog I saw things in Rome that changed my eyes for the better i believe. I started seeing art in a different way. This isn't a declaration of total change but a mere epiphany of what was underlying in me. I guess going to Rome was the trigger and I am very happy because of it! Anyway I finished doing a shoot, for this super lovely couple Mike and Grace. They are such a nice couple, and they have such humble hearts.. This shoot was most definitely one of the most enjoyable shoots I had. With out further a due, Here are some examples of the difference. I hope you enjoy them.

The trip to a beautiful place, Part one of two

As some of you may know, I had an awesome trip to Rome last week. I just want to say, I highly recommend taking a vacation there. It was really amazing being around so much art. everything was so artistic. To the buildings that simply stood everywhere around you. To the ground that you just strolled across. Every inch embossed with time and art from someone that was passionate about what they do. But ill get into more detail about that on the part 2. Here are some shots for your eyes to feed on. I know they aren't wedding pictures or anything related but I find more of who I am as a photographer as i shoot. So maybe you can enjoy the experience of seeing my style change..or not change. I really hope you enjoy them as I do.

Here is a picture of a little girl just being.. a little girl haha. She was just running across the flock of pigeon's. A lady in the back gave her son about 3-5yrs old some bird food to feed the pigeon's and he started eating it. lol he was probably half way done before his mother found out. It was pretty cute haha

So in Rome there are things like these just constantly flowing with water. Never ending. And I was so amazed when a person walked up and took a swig! I was like no way! thats drinking water. Some local person told me those fountains have been there for decades. And I wouldnt be suprised if some Romans from Jesus' time drank from that same fountain.

Here is a little praying podium in the Vatican Church. What an amazing place. I lived right around the corner from the Vatican Obelisk. Anyway being able to be there and experiencing the Renaissance Art was one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I feel that most of my life I've been sooo into modern art. But this trip has definitely opened my eyes. I feel that im more into Modernistic Furnitures and not into Modernistic Art. If you saw the modern at section in the Vatican Museum you would understand why. And to think about you NEVER EVER hear about the modern art in the Vatican. Just about Micheal Angelo and the Sistine Chapel. so more about that on the next blog.

Hey everyone, Sorry I havent updated my blog in a month. But I have a reason! For the past few weeks I have been moving into a new home. thats been taking a lot of energy out of me! haha and last but not least I just got back from my trip to Rome. It was probably one of the most amazing trips I have ever had in my life. But I will elaborate more when I get back to you with a nice full blog. with images. So I hope you all are doing well!

Birthday and Snowtrip!

Well my birthday is basically right now. Yay! I'm very excited. Im ready to tackle on this new age head on. And Happy Birthday to all of you who are born on this day like I am! I feel very blessed having family and friends that care even if aren't very large in numbers. Some of my clients even greeted me! which is even cooler haha.

Anyway yesterday Me and some friends of mine from church went out to Boreal to go snowboarding. I had a BLAST! it was so much fun. Pretty scary going all the way up to cause I'm a little afraid of heights but going down that slope wasnt so bad at all actually. I just rode down it way too many times for my own good haha, I also saw some random people that I knew!

I feel inspired!

I recently broke one of my Lenses =[ But I purchased a replacement one and it came in the mail today. Its in great shape and I am excited! The weather hasn't been kind lately with it frantically changing from Sunny to rainy. But this week I have decided to bring my baby (Canon 5D) with me through out the whole week! Im pretty excited. Im also going off to snowboard this saturday. Which is a great opportunity to bring in some snow scenes into my non wedding photography. heres a little sneak peak of raymonwell fine art.

This is something I took when I was still in High School. I hope you guys have a great week! Im so excited to snowboard and surf season is coming!

Oh yeah My Birthday is in 5 Days! and I have no idea what to do hehe

Anyway raymonwell photography is basically just my first name haha but i think that its a very simple name. And its very personal. I hope you guys like!

The Canon 5D Cont.

I've gotten it! Finally. after many sleepless nights of making connections I have finally gotten it!. I cannot believe the mayhem that I have endured for just this camera but God has been faithful. I think this will be a very great beginning for my career. The color and the reduced noise in this camera is unbelievable. But I must say its never the camera that captures those lovely images but it is the photographer. I just love the fact that I own the same camera as some of the most famous and my most favorite photographers! Now I gotta save up for a flash, a grip, and some Glass! (lenses). Have a good one all!
